We are recruiting for a 1st Line Support Consultant / Support Analyst who has some experience of supporting ERP or Accounting Software (or something similar such as DMS, manufacturing, distribution, time & attendance or payroll software). This position is with a small, successful software consultancy in Dorset who are resellers of 3 different ERP solutions, and also develop their own add-on products.
They are a small to mid sized software business where your contribution will really make a difference – they will cross train you on their software and you will work with a great team of consultants, developers and support staff, as well as the management who are still hands on and very approachable. Their offices are located outside of town near Bournemouth Airport and near Ringwood, so you would need to be a car owner to get here. A base salary of £25-30k is on offer plus benefits.
The software they sell encompasses all aspects of ERP including accounting, invoicing, manufacturing, warehouse management, distribution, bill of materials, HR, purchasing, CRM, EPoS and E-commerce and you will have the opportunity to learn all of these modules.
You will join the support desk answering email and telephone queries regarding accounting and ERP software, providing a high level of quality support to both customers and consultants. You will resolve or escalate queries and requests, logging all support requests and completing the necessary documentation. As well as your knowledge of accounting or ERP software, you should have really good communication and problem solving skills, plenty of initiative and the ability to multi-task.
There will also be the opportunity to get involved in some client training, and to move in to software implementation in the future if you wish to. However if you are happy in a support desk role, and don’t want to travel, then you can stay in support.
This is a small, specialist software company with an excellent work ethic and good career prospects. If you have experience supporting accounting or ERP software (or similar application software) and would like to move across to some of the leading ERP products for SME’s, this could be an excellent move for you.
